Coronavirus concerns seemed to have affected voter turnout, with many polling places reporting relatively low turnout. On social media, voters posted "I voted" sticker pics, sometimes wearing a mask and showing off hand sanitizer, and using popular hashtags like #coronapocalypse #StayHomeSaveLives.

FSW Student Hosts Birthday Canned Food Drive

FSW Student Sarah Cabrera is collecting 18,000 pounds of food for her 18th birthday. Last year, Sarah’s birthday food drive collected 2,800 pounds, but this year she’s reached out to the FSW Office of Student Engagement and over 20 local businesses — ranging from coffee shops to private schools — to help multiply last year's number by six.

Welcome Week Photo Challenge

At the start of every semester, I hosted a Welcome Week Photo Challenge on social media. Each day students could win prizes for posting their best photographs from around campus. There was also a grand prize winner at the end. I designed the photo challenge graphic myself using Adobe Spark.
